MARS BAR CHOCOLATE CRACKLE

INGREDIENTS


  • 4 x 53g Mars bars, chopped
  • 90g butter, chopped into cubes
  • 3 cups Rice Krispies

  • 80g white chocolate

  • Colourful sprinkles, to decorate


DIRECTIONS


  1. Line a large baking tray with baking paper.
  2. Place Mars Bars and butter in a saucepan and heat over a low flame. Stir constantly, without boiling for 5-7 minutes or until the mixture is melted and smooth.
  3. Pour into a large heatproof bowl and add the Rice Krispies. Mix until evenly coated.
  4. Use a tablespoon to measure out equal portions of the mixture. Press and roll 1 level tbsp mixture at a time into balls (you need to work quickly, or the mixture may set). Place onto the baking tray.
  5. Melt the white chocolate in the microwave at 30s intervals until runny. Place into a small zip-lock bag and snip off a corner. Pipe the chocolate over the balls.
  6. Roll the balls in a bowl of colourful sprinkles.
  7. Refrigerate for 20 minutes or until set and serve. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
