    BRUSSELS SPROUTS WITH MAPLE RANCH - Artcaffé Market

     

    INGREDIENTS

    • 500g brussels sprouts
    • Oil, for deep frying
    • Sea salt

    For the dipping sauce

    • 1/4 cup Artcaffé Market ranch dressing
    • 1 tsp chilli flakes
    • 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
    • 1 heaped tbsp mayonnaise


    DIRECTIONS

    1. Wash and dry the brussels sprouts. Cut in half through the core or 1/4 if they are too big.
    2. Heat a neutral oil. To check if it is hot enough, dip the end of a wooden spoon into the oil. There should be vigorous bubbles around it.
    3. Add the brussels sprouts in batches and fry till crispy and golden brown.
    4.  Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on a paper towel, salting before serving.
    5. Whisk together the ingredients for the dipping sauce and serve.
